What You Need To Know If You Think You Should Have Custody

If you think you are such a great parent and should have custody, these are some of the things you need to know:

The names of your child(ren)’s teachers;
The names of your child(ren)’s doctors;
The names of your child(ren)’s friends;
The names of your child(ren)’s friend’s parents;
The names of your child(ren)’s coaches;
The names of your child(ren)’s therapist;
The names of your child(ren)’s childcare providers;
The names of your child(ren)’s afterschool program staff and administrator.

Your child(ren)’s report card grades;
Your child(ren)’s special needs if any and the IEP;
Your child(ren)’s allergies if any;
Your child(ren)’s likes and dislikes;
Your child(ren)’s extracurricular interests and preferences;
Your child(ren)’s clothing sizes;
Your child(ren)’s favorite foods.

These are just the basics, but if you do not know these things, you really need to sit down and ask yourself, are you really the parent you think you are and are trying to tell the court? The answer is a resounding: NO, you are NOT!
